Bupa Hong Kong is pleased to announce the appointment of Raymond Young as Director of Distribution and Sales, Health Insurance, effective 2 January 2025. In his new role, Raymond will spearhead the growth of Bupa’s individual and group health insurance businesses through intermediary channels. He will focus on strengthening broker relationships, driving transformative sales strategies, and forging strategic partnerships with providers, particularly in the digital space, to enhance Bupa’s Connected Care model. By integrating health insurance with innovative services and tools, he will further position Bupa as the specialist in healthcare.

Raymond brings nearly two decades of experience in the insurance industry, specializing in sales, distribution, and employee benefits. He has successfully led business development teams and managed corporate client portfolios, building trusted relationships with brokers, intermediaries, and corporate partners. His expertise spans group medical, life insurance, and pension services, as well as bancassurance and individual business partnerships. This diverse experience equips him to navigate evolving market dynamics and identify opportunities to drive innovation and growth.
