Healthy Cities
Healthy Cities
The Healthy Cities is Bupa's global initiative promoting physical wellbeing and the planet health, aiming to making cities healthier places for people to live. While the majority of the world's population living in cities, and climate change affecting city dwellers the most. We are committed to reimagining healthcare and exploring how societies can better promote and support people's health in a changing climate. We believe cities play a crucial role in this transformation.
Through Healthy Cities, we aim to support people's health in a changing climate and help them understand the link between their wellbeing and the environment. Launched in 2015 in Spain and now a global initiative, the Healthy Cities programme encourages people to adopt sustainable and healthy lifestyles, while Bupa invests in regenerating urban environments to help communities to thrive. Our goal is to support 1 million people by the end of 2025. Through this programme, we will raise awareness, build partnerships and drive action to create healthier, greener cities.
