Bupa Wins Prestigious Industry Awards

Bupa received high recognition in the industry and won multiple accolades at the renowned Financial Institution Awards organised by Bloomberg Businessweek/ Chinese Edition, and the Greater Bay Area (GBA) Insurance Award by Metro Finance in May 2019.
For the second year, Bupa attained the highest honour, the “Excellence” prize at the Bloomberg Financial Institution Awards, this year in three categories – “Health and Protection”, “Claims Management” and “High Net Worth Insurance Service”.
At the first Metro Finance GBA Insurance Award 2019 – Hong Kong Region, Bupa won the Outstanding Medical Insurance and Outstanding Development Contribution to Insurance Industry.
These awards recognise financial institutions who set exceptional industry standards in medical protection and are trusted by the public with their professional and high-quality service. The recognition further affirms Bupa as a global healthcare specialist and a leading provider in healthcare funding and provision in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area.
The Bloomberg Businessweek Financial Institution Awards 2019 recognise innovative and diversified contributions in Hong Kong. The Awards are judged by a panel of economists, scholars, financial analysts, Legislative Councillors and Bloomberg Businessweek/ Chinese editorial board.
The GBA Insurance Awards 2019 – HK Region recognise outstanding performance of insurance institutions to encourage and promote the highest level of professionalism in the industry. The Awards are judged by a panel of scholars, government officials, Legislative Councillors and industry professionals.
