Green Power Hike in promoting a green future

Bupa (Asia) Limited and Quality HealthCare sponsored the 25th Green Power Hike and sent four teams to participate in the large-scale annual hiking event as our continued advocacy of green initiatives in Hong Kong. Our teams successfully completed the 10km challenge, with one team achieving an exceptionally outstanding record, becoming the 1st Runner Up in the Hong Kong Federation of Insurers Cup.
The event organised by Green Power delivers a green hiking experience by integrating environmental elements, encouraging participants to take part in green practices together, such as “Take Your Litter Home”, waste separation and recycling, and reducing the use of resources.
Over 3,000 enthusiastic participants strived for the worthy cause of environmental protection this year, and over HK$5 million were raised for promoting environmental education among schools and the community, contributing a more sustained and greener Hong Kong.
Caring for the environment lies in the centre of what we do in Bupa, and it is encouraging to see a continuous commitment from our staff to realise our goals in promoting green awareness and environmental protection both in our work environment and the external communities.
