1. Employee’s family member (parents, parents-in-laws, spouse, children, grandparents, grandparents-in-laws and siblings only) will be offered a discount of 20% for purchasing any Bupa individual products. 30% discount will be offered to employees who have completed 5 years of service with Bupa.
2. Enrolling in different plan levels will provide varying amounts of supermarket e-coupons. You can receive HK$400 supermarket e-coupons for enrolling in Core plans, HK$600 supermarket e-coupons for Advance plans, and HK$800 supermarket e-coupons for Deluxe plans. Terms and conditions apply.
3. Based on an 18-years-old member enrolling in the Bupa Hero VHIS Plan (Core) with yearly payment and a HK$80,000 deductible option. Actual premium varies depending on the age of the insured person. The amount show does not include any applicable discount, offer or premium loading.
4. Insured persons of Core and Core Pro Plan are entitled to the progressive coverage. You may upgrade your plan level or remove your deductible once at a specific important life event including marriage, childbirth, acquisition of individual residential property, job promotion or migration, without re-underwriting. Please refer to the Policy for details.
5. Bupa Pass is only applicable to insured persons who have not enrolled in the Clinical Benefits of the Bupa Hero VHIS Plan, who may use Bupa Pass at designated service provider(s) to enjoy specific services at privileged rates. Terms and conditions of Bupa Pass applied.
6. Full cover is only applicable to selected items under Summary of Benefits and subject to the annual benefit limit, deductible and restricted ward class set out in the Summary of Benefits.
7. Deductible options include Core and Core Pro plans: HK$0, HK$15,000, HK$50,000 and HK$80,000; and Advance, Advance Pro, Deluxe and Deluxe Pro plans: HK$0, HK$12,000, HK$40,000 and HK$80,000. A deductible is the amount of eligible expenses that you must pay per policy year. Bupa will cover the remaining amount up to the benefit limit. The deductible won’t apply to the Medical Check-up Benefit and optional benefits.
8. First-dollar coverage – Deductible waived for Cancer are not applicable to Bupa Hero VHIS Plan (Core Pro, Advance, Advance Pro, Deluxe or Deluxe Pro) with zero dollar ($0) Deductible option shown in the Benefit Schedule and Bupa Hero VHIS Plan (Core) (regardless of its Deductible option).
9. Family discount will be applied to the standard premium and premium loading of the certified plan only, but not any other optional benefits under the Bupa Hero VHIS Plan. The discount will be valid as long as the eligible family members are all covered under a Bupa Hero VHIS Plan at the same time. Family discount is not applicable to Bupa Hero VHIS Plan (Core and Core Pro).
10. The Referee must successfully enrol in any Bupa insurance plan with first year’s net annual premium or subscription of each insured person must be more than or equal to HK$3,000 (i.e. the premium or subscription after deducting family discount or other applicable promotion premium discount) through a Bupa Health Management Consultant within the Promotional Period to get a basic reward of HK$300 supermarket e-coupon. Additionally, referee can get extra coupons according to the enrolled plan level. Receive HK$100 supermarket e-coupon for Core plans, HK$200 supermarket e-coupons for Advance plans, and HK$300 supermarket e-coupons for Deluxe plans. Terms and conditions apply.
